What you are describing then is positive discrimination. In my view any discrimination is wrong and works away from a meritocracy that we should have, in order to tick off political equality spreadsheets.

Having said that, in a meritocracy we would have one knowledgeable presenter, male or female, rather than a team of people yabbering away just to justify their pay.

I quickly lose interest in any presentation where *insert male here* says one lone and *insert female here* says the next line. Modern TV is made of teams of talentless people - like a boy band each having their line because none of them individually can hold an audience, but each if them appeals to a different tiny minority to keep the cash coming in.

Yes, that is exactly what I am describing. And also explaining why it is a short term need in order to even the keel for the long term.

You're right, I overlooked the women that get jobs because they have big tits.

So if I were to perhaps change the nuance of my argument to suggest that having more women presenters meant more entries into your w@nk bank, would you then be in favour of it?
