I know but I just assume he isn't going to use him right because he's given no indication he will. I actually think we showed progress tonight so I'm going to lay off Gregg but if he has the wrong overall idea like Adams at RB it doesn't matter how well he builds the team because they aren't aiming for the right thing.

Theres probably a similar number of Mexicans or Mexican descendants living in the US as Mexico at this point. Not that that's a bad thing but when a lot of our country is less than accepting of them, they tend to not pull on the red white and blue. Plus the Mexico national team is massive in a way that the USMNT still isn't. So they fill up American stadiums. They play more friendlies in the US than Mexico nowadays. If FIFA let them they'd play qualifiers here.

Doubt that has much to do with it. No ones going to drop the team of their birth/parents birth just because the place they moved to was welcoming.

Whatever progress we showed in the first half went right out the window when Tata made adjustments while GB did nothing. Completely outmanaged. Our ceiling under Berhalter is GC runner ups and qualifying as 2nd for the WC. Any WC advancement would be come down to the group we're drawn into. I like a lot of our younger players but Greg is going to waste them. I'd to be proved wrong but nothing in his track record suggests differently. Coached a Swedish team for 2 years (won nothing) then won nothing with Columbus for 5 years. Yet somehow people think he should be in charge of the national team. It's like putting Eddie Howe in charge of England

He's definitely not up to the standard of Tata. And God help us if we get drawn against someone like Germany or France. But what excites me is we do have some good players at the moment and that should be enough to make the team at least fun again.

Steffen, Yedlin, Brooks, Miazga, LB, Adams, McKennie, Pulisic, Arriola, Boyd, Sargent (hopefully) is a really decent team. If some of the u20 guys like Weah can step up it could be even better. We are starting to get there.

Lol 3 minutes when the subs and goal celebration alone were 4. And the ball was probably in play for 8 minutes of the last 15. Never change CONCACAF.

I counted from the 79th minute to the 83rd. Their was two in those 4 minutes. Plenty more to be had. Fifa is bad, CONCACAF is worse. We'd be better off telling them to go eff themselves. No more tournaments in the states using our stadiums, we'll just do qualification through them. Forfeit all the crappy nations league crap. We'll just play friendlies out of Concacaf.

I agree Berhalter was completely out coached. As much as I am annoyed by things that went on in the game, they deserved to win because of how the second 45 went.

I've lived in southern Texas. I've been employed by Mexicans, I've had Mexican friends, classmates, dated Mexican girls. A large section of them in southern Texas have no desire to assimilate. It's a very strange world down there. A lot of them rooted for Mexico long before all this terrible stuff cropped up. I've had people tell me that the border shouldn't exist because that is still Mexico's land.

When you add all that charged stuff to it. I think most aren't switching to the US.

Expect USSF could care less about us having a home field advantage,etc. All they care about is money hence all the games in pro Mexico areas of the country not to mention the half filled football stadiums like in Nashville because tickets are 100+

I guess I wouldn't either but at some level I would probably adopt the team where I was too. It doesn't feel like that with Mexican Americans.

The womens team is a unique situation because we've had such a huge headstart in the womens game compared to other nations. We will never have the talent advantage we have with the women in the mens game.
