Nigel Pearson did the same with Leicester don't forget. He took them from nailed on certainties to be relegated and went on a fantastic run defying all odds to stay up. Eventually,, without me checking, didn't Pearson then make way for Ranieri. It was the basis of Pearson's side that went on to win the title.

Yes, they ended up finishing top 8 I think

what would be the point, I can't see many managers that can get them out of trouble who won't cost a fortune, Allardicio,Hughes Pulis, none of those chancers can guarantee you anything now.
He should have got the bullet at Xmas. Their last few fixtures have been the kind they should be winning.
He isn't going to work his usual magic this season, someone stick a fork in them, they look well and truly done :Blink:
