Somebody would have been unhappy to be losing minutes to 38 year old Zlatan. And whether it would have been Kean, Richarlison or DCL that would have been dumb.

And all of the wise men on here would have been spouting off about getting your head down and working harder. I think Piatek might be a bit overrated to but good on him for not taking that crap.

But we wouldn't have sold Kean, Richy or DCL is my point.

How do you know Piatek just isn't being sold because he's crap? Played midweek so he's hardly been sulking since Zlatan came in.

I genuinely do think if we bought Zlatan or Cavani or whoever one of those 3 would be gone by the end of next season. Probably Kean after getting loaned back to Italy for a portion of this year and/or next.

The thing is he's really good at all the other stuff so if you can get him scoring like he did last season you've got a real player. It's just unlikely that happens again

If it really is down to Palace and West Ham, one club is 5 points of a guaranteed European place , the other is well in relegation trouble with some really difficult games round the corner.

Yeah. We'll see. I'd like him to come, he is the right kind of age and player we need. Fingers crossed.
