I got blocked on twitter yesterday by the lead NBC play by play commentator because I asked him if during his interview with Son he brought up that Son is a complete danger to his opponents with his revenge tackles.

Today at the end of United and Wolves they bring up the table and he immediately starts talking about the RS. I think I'll be ok without his tweets.

Not really, thats the first cross ive ever seen him make.

Hes VERY good defensively, but modern fullbacks need more than being able to defend and for 50m he should be able to do both.

Corrected mate.

As poor going forward as I’ve seen in a long time.

Cafu, Roberto Carlos...those two changed the game for full backs. The next Brazilian double act, Dani Alves, Marcelo, followed in their foot steps. The scouser at the RS, “De Bruyne at right back”, the first playmaker I’ve ever seen play in that position (be interested to know if anyone else has ever done so before). These players have made full back a much bigger role than it was 25/30 years ago.

I rate him too although for me he's not a £45-50m player. If they keep him long-term, it could be seen as a shrewd acquisition, but the jury is still out there.
