For me he missed the ball, caught Sterling no matter how minimal

Not necessarily. Can be no pen and not a dive.

But it's a tough call either way no doubt.

I'd have booked him yes. But on field call didnt. 2 yellows isn't reviewable. It's a bit of a farce.
