Ronaldo v Messi. Opinions will always differ, but we are so lucky to see two world class players in the same era. Both a pleasure to watch.
Personally always preferred Ronaldo as hes done in in england, span, italy, does not to bad on international footy etc,but agree 2 world class players that in many years people will go on about and say they wished they could have seen them in action, if Live in person or on TV the way we go on about certain players from the past, if from Everton or whatever team.

Excellent back to normal, Right call, it was only ever going to work closing the window before league started if other leagues did same as it give them advantage for 3 weeks to get whoever they wanted and still unsettle your players which was reason window before season began was brought in to stop that

That's not really happened for the last two summers though. Can't remember a player going for big money at deadline day.

Still unsettles players weeks into the season.

I prefer Ronaldo purely on the basis I have seen him live a few times, but that doesnt stop me realising how good Messi is. Two different types of players but, as I said, great to watch.

1 win in 11 and 6 goals conceded vs West Ham and Bournemouth but they're praised as one of the good stories of the season.
Think winning against teams like Spurs and Arsenal make the media pay attention and hype them up and now that they're in poor form they just get ignored, apart from the piece you linked above of course
