Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

There's a reason there were no premiership refs officiating at the last World Cup where the introduction of VAR was by and large successful.

Today...

David Coote made his name by turning down a stonewaller when Walcott was blatantly fouled in the area at Goodison a few weeks back. No surprise then to see that the Chelsea game VAR official was the hapless Coote again somehow deciding Celso's stamp was purely accidental today.

Meanwhile Chris Kavanagh is apparently up to his tricks again, not content with bringing VAR into disrepute by not sending off Harry Maguire (and disallowing Zouma's goal) in midweek, Chelsea again the unfortunate victims, he's right, laft and centre of another highly controversial VAR decision today disallowing a Bournemouth goal (reportedly extremely contentious decision). Today's decision may turn out correct once its analysed but far too many of our officials are making mistakes even with the advantage of endless replays.

it's not VAR at fault, its the useless premiership PGMOL pricks who run it.

Human error? They've been experts at that for decades.

I know there is an idea we need better first team players but I think someone like Mooy would have been a great option for us off the bench. Think we need better depth because, currently, it's crap.
