A good game to get a look at Hojbjerg later. A game where he should have a lot of the ball and a lot of space to cover on counters.

Agreed, good chance to scout some maybes, I remain unconvinced by them all so far, so lot of work for them.

I'm out on all the Norwich players that everyone brings up in the transfer thread every time they play. Buendia I could maybe be convinced and Aarons is just too expensive. The rest are major NOs.

He’s more a box to box type according to my mates.
I think he’s decent, and the right age, so maybe something in the rumours.
Spurs, as seemingly ever, are also linked with him.

I got you. I'm not too worried about end product if we are buying him for our current system. So long as he can actually cover space and shield the backline.

He deffo gets about the pitch, but I wouldn’t like to judge a player going off these games coming up.

I'm not buying into the "these aren't real games" stuff. People talk about teams not caring like that doesn't happen in March of every season anyway. Professional players aren't playing 0-0s if they don't put in the effort to close down and defend.

“Don’t think he’s good enough to go to the next level, Bayern sold him cheap to us, ( £10m ) but he is one of our better players. Passes sideways a lot, loves a yellow card, usually for pulling a shirt back when someone gets past him, and scores a worldly once every season.”
