I've been a big advocate of VAR and still think they'll eventually get it far better than now, but there's no doubt the way the premier league are currently applying it is a total mess.

The disallowed West Ham goal against Chelsea (similar to our own against United) and last night's disallowed Harry Kane effort proves how senseless the rules are, that is as they currently stand and are being applied now, technically correct decisions but against any sort of common sense.

Last night's was a perfect example, Luca Moura was fouled, and as he fell stretched out his arms in front of him to break his fall, Sheffield United's John Egan then inadvertantly kicked the ball against one of his outstretched hands and the ball deflected on to Harry Kane. The fouled man's team shouldn't then be penalised because of it, it's absolutely absurd.

We're putting up with enough having badly incompetent officials like Jon Moss referee his share of matches, without then exacerbating it with extremely unbending, strict and rigid interpretations of the VAR handball process, it's just gone too far now and desperately needs reform for next season.

??????????????????? asked a fair question ya muppet

He’s always been a sore loser, can’t really moan at him. He hates losing so much, that he doesn’t really lose at all.

When we used to lose with Silva, he’d shrug his should and go “meh”.

So I often felt the points deduction was a bit of added insult to the injury of the bankruptcy...making relegation a real possibility to an already trou led club. However from a certain perspective it makes sense; if a club can't compete financially the league needs to protect the integrity of the competition and get them out as quickly as possible.

That doesn't change just because of the covid.

Normally id agree, however looks like this has been done purposely for the points deduction. So the EFL should suspend it.

Really want Portsmouth to get promoted. I feel about them the way Sunderland fans think everyone feels about Sunderland.
