Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

Its been quite a novelty with loads of games, with many FTA, and the empty grounds, and credit to the PL and others for getting something on the pitch and screens.

But a season of this? Aint so sure the numbers will add up myself.
 

Danny Welbeck has scored a Premier League goal for the first time in over 600 days. This is his first in the competition since Aug 2018, when he netted for Arsenal against West Ham - against no other side has he netted more often than the four he has versus the Canaries in the top-flight.

His last 3 goals in all competitions have come under different managers:

Unai Emery
Quique Sanchez Flores
Nigel Pearson

Its had a bit of a sumner tournament feel to it to me, but you're right, the novelty will soon wear off. We shouldn't start next season without fans.
