Early signs are that Carlo still knows how to fix things that aren't working. Jose sends out the same tactics weekly and it never happens.

I think his man management is shocking. He expects all his players to have so much mental strength and leadership which is ok when you have Terry's, Zanetti's, Ramos' etc not many players are like that anymore and he needs to adapt but he cant.

The tactics are grossly regressive and haven't changed in about 15 years. That doesn't work. Essentially it's what happened to Wenger minus the regressive part.

I'm not really in the business of defending Mourinho but Greenwood's birthday is in 2001 so he would have been very young when Jose got canned.

It has to be done from the ground up and it will take time as well as some failure I'm sure. We don't seem prepared to reckon with that reality which makes it impossible.
