Just watch the Leeds fans say they are bigger club than us after doing the square root of jack for a generation.

The only thing of note for 2 decades is provide the football lexicon with "Doing a Leeds"

Which is, for people who don't know, is going from success (Champions League semi finalist) to administration and relegation (tumbling to league one) practically overnight.

More fool us!!!

Sometimes I envy these clubs, I mean what a ride its been for City, Wolves, from the depths to the highest of highs.

Meanwhile we have just bobbed along.
If you ask Palace fans of a certain age the best period of supporting Palace it would be the crazy years under Big Mal who presided over two consecutive relegations. 3 seasons in the old Division 3 with an FA Cup semi final thrown in. No sense to it but better than the sterile cack dished out in the Premier League week in week out.

Think they were Sky darlings for a few years when they had a good side, always on telly, they sort of took Newcastle’s mantle as a one club town mistakenly seen as a big club and everyones second favourite team, when in reality they have actually spent a lot of time out of the top flight.

Yeah, very aware.

dipped between a lot up until 90s where they had 15 years consistency.

Seeing loads of people celebrate it, weird. Will they do the same with Brentford next week?

I didn't realise how few trophies they've won. For some reason I thought they'd won a fair amount back in ye day but turns out they have won 5 in the entire 100 years of their history...
