couple of weeks of eerily empty stadiums with fake crowd noise is one thing,schlepping to Russia/Asia border on a long flight to play in empty stadiums on a Thursday night will probably lose the allure, so maybe Wolves might be better off.

Personally I'd have done away with all international competitions till Euro 2021.

The good vs evil regime, haves vs haves nots( Neymar's wage alone is nearly equivalent to the combined wages of the Atalanta squad), the bullies/prima Donna's vs the street smart underdogs, the underachievers vs overachievers.
They have a manager called Gasperini. That alone is charming enough.

The other teams in the comp. viz. MCity, Bayern, Barcelona, Red Bullshit, Simeone FC are loathsome in some way or the other.
