Today’s Football 2019/20 Season

They’re going to amass approximately £150m from this season through TV deals etc., compared to the just over £2m they’ve spent on players.

Obviously you will have expected some new contracts and wages, but if they go straight down, they’ll also get parachute payments close to £70m.

I respect that they want to be self-sufficient and not face uncertainty if (when) they are relegated, however this is a step too far - its like a cash cow.

From what I’ve read, they aren’t a club with any significant debt (nigh on £20m or less), so what are the owners going to use the money for?

I think Norwich will be fine tbh, this season at least

If Silva gets potted this year I wouldn't mind Biesla - always has his teams playing sexy no nonsense football.

Leeds playing some wonderful stuff here.
