Otherwise a one off qualification semi, probably away, followed if successful by a qualification final. I don't know format for the final.

I have bad memories of playing Denmark at Lansdowne/Aviva going back to November 1985 when we lost 4-1 and ended Eoin Hand's term as manager.

Two years ago they hammered us 5-1 in a play off for the WC in Russian.

Gutted. Honestly though, best I've seen Ireland perform in a long, long time. Too bad is was just a bit too late. Matt Doherty absolutely showing Coleman up too - him and McGoldrick were brilliant.
