Not seen it yet but by all accounts the incident never even affected to the build up of the goal.

The game is dead. VAR has managed to do the exact opposite of what it was intended for.

It's corruption. The game is corrupt. It has been for years; all we're seeing now is the result of being able to get away with it so long to the point where they don't even feel the need to hide it any more.

It's more blatantly corrupt than boxing.

VAR is a tool for corruption, or at least one that's very susceptible to it.

You can disallow almost any goal for one reason, or award one for another.

It's not just paranoia from partisan fans, the Americans found corruption at the very highest level of the game in Blatter, Valcke and Platini.

Then go back to the 2006 Italian football scandal/match fixing.

The game and it's integrity is on it's arse.
