looks like its not touching the line at all though. Should have been retaken.
It doesnt have to touch the line, as long as some part of the ball overhangs the line its fine.
Look how close the linesman is, he would have checked that the ball is the right spot.
Players have been doing this for ages.

The rules say ‘The ball must be placed in the corner area’.
Im pretty sure Maddison did the same thing against us and they scored.
I see it every week mate, the linesman often tell them to move it a few inches if its not touching the line.
