Sorry to jump in one this one, but where is the room for dross in Wolves squad? The ones we play are all doing rather well, the rest are pretty much u23 players.
Kilman is an alright CB at his age, Gibbs-White is very talented but usually flatters to deceive or does naff all, Dendoncker looks pretty average but works his arse off and pops up with odd moments of quality. Neto is a star in the making.
That’s pretty much all the bench, apart from Podence who can’t get a game because he hasn’t spent 6 months learning the system.

Can’t agree with average players in the back 5 either. Boly is outstanding, Saiss is vastly improved as a CB, Coady is not a typical CB and would probably be woeful in a back 4 but spot on for his role. Doherty is king of FPL bar TAA.

As you’ve been finding out since Silva buggered off, players look better and actually improve when they’re coached properly, to a system with some tactics.
That’s why Arsenal and Spurs are shitting the bed with decent squads, Wolves are where they are with decent quality, and the blades are shithousing their way to glory with a relatively awful squad.

We can argue the details as much as you want, I personally would put the Wolves squad in the same tier as everyone aside from United, Chelsea, RS, and City in terms of teams trying to compete. So that doesn't include the likes of Burnley for example.

I'm not going to go into the details on everyone, but like Boly from what I've seen is not outstanding. Now I'll admit I'm not watching a ton of Wolves, I don't really enjoy it no offense, but the times I've seen Boly he has never been consistent. Ok yes he can be dominant, but he often isn't, and I've seen a few real clangers.

I know good tactics prop up a squad and I'm trying to take that out, just which teams have good players. That's why my original post was to say our squad is probably right there with Leicester, because we were coached like dog poo and are still competitive with largely the same players now that we aren't with Silva.
