Be 7 points come next weekend but the point is we are miles from what they have acheived in recent years - even last season finishing 5th looks an impossible task for us.

Add in they actually sign more hits than misses whereas we seem to keep adding dross to fill the spots previous dross have just vacated.

Mate of mine joked when we were managed by Fat Sam that it probably would do us good to go down and clear the decks and start over with a philosophy and new figures from boardroom to the playing side.

I laughed at the time but when you see the likes of Leicester and even Villa's resurgence from what they were I couldn't say he doesn't have a point - we are managed by Carlo Ancelotti and still look a shower of crap dont know what is up with this club.

Just becoming very predictable and boring.

Its hard when talking to overseas or even out of town fans as I find its difficult to explain the difference compared to living on Merseyside when you are crap without trying to not sound like im some sort of better fan as thats not the case but their is deffo a difference.

I remember going into school the day after they won the CL in Istanbul and it was horrific as my class mates were largely Kopites - spent my high school years listening to the usual "ah lad we jus signed Torrez lad u cant afford a packet of crisps small club" there is no escape from it when you're in the vipers pit.

Suppose if we sort ourselves out it would make it sweeter but I cant see anything to suggest it will as of yet!
