We aren't in Europe or the League cup anymore so as far as I'm concerned they can bin both of them off

Whatever is good for Everton is what should happen.
On the flip side, I could say I would rather teams competing around us have to play all of their games, in all competitions, so it benefits us in the league.

Bit of a small minded view considering the world we are living in at the moment I know!

I guess what I am asking is, is there a fair solution to all of this? If not, what is the answer?

(Sorry, no big revelation from me here!)

So equality is not the yardstick? Bring a woman is not a special group, it is more than 50% of the population. She was quick enough to disparage the whole Leeds team and its manager’s accomplishment. Notice nobody calls for an apology over that!

If you want to be a public figure you have to develop a thick skin.
But the real world doesn’t work like that. You can’t just say “we have one standard and that’s everyone regardless of culture, creed, race, health situation etc” everyone has different circumstances and this needs to be taken into account. When people discuss equality they are talking about personal opportunities, and discrimination. If KC gets discriminated against more heavily due to her gender within the football sphere (which she evidently has) then she is not being treated equally and therefore you make a moot point.

You’re comparing apples with oranges here also. Leeds United is a corporation, KC is a individual, criticising a corporation is not the same as personally hounding a individual.

Premier League might be able to squeeze the fixtures in, but what about Europe and the Cups?

I think a team in the Premier League who is still in Europe, FA Cup and League Cup, have around 38 games to play. The Euros start on the 11th June

If you got to all finals, you would have to play around 38 games in 23 weeks. That's 1.6 games a week.

What (or who) is going to give first?
And that is expecting other games to all be on, which looks very unlikely at the minute.

I don't agree the way Leeds have responded to this I but I can see why they felt they had to respond in some way.

Basically what her comments have done, without any proof of the fact, have inferred that Leeds have benefited or even taken advantage of a World Pandemic and no football club or company should be expected to leave this unanswered from a Public Relations standpoint.

If it was business to business then they would probably be consulting their lawyers with a few to suing!

Perhaps there's a lesson for both parties to quickly learn here!

A small point: from her perspective, her comments do not confer inference, they confer implication. Your interpretation of that is your inference.

So, what she said might imply something, and what you make of that implication is how you infer it.

Discriminated against? She is a pundit for a national broadcaster!

And comparing Leeds to a corporation is wrong. She is criticising a squad of 20 odd players and a manager.

They are a corporation though? As are Everton and every premier league club.

If she’s getting told to get back in the kitchen, and make a sandwich then yes, by definition, she is being discriminated against as these are insults that would not be levelled at a man

what am i supposed to do between 6pm and 8pm now

Why can't they call games off in advance? 3 hours a joke

Be a joke if they didn't call it off

The advantage of having no fans is they can do this...players are tested the day before games (or maybe early matchday) so as they have the most up-to-date results as possible....and if results show positive covid results then you call the game off...this is as good as things can be...

now fulham can make the necessary arrangements, and the spurs camp are kept away from danger..

Leeds have pulled up other pundits on social media in the exact same manner, so this is very much an example of double standards.

if people use a public platform to stick the boot in, don’t be surprised when it come back to kick you in the botttom.
Leeds have pulled up other pundits........ when?

They quoted "Them Muppets from Leeds" - their tweet didn't even state who made that quote even though it was from Chris Wilder a manager not a pundit

They did a how it started how it ended trend where they quoted 3 tweets from agbonlahor before the aston villa game - agbonlahor an ex-aston villa player, is he even a pundit? i know he does radio stuff for talksport

then they posted a video of karen carney from amazon and tagged her employer and did a tweet with emoji's

out of the 3 which is the worst

That's not discrimination, that's an insult, albeit a sexist one. Discrimination would be her not getting the job in the first place due to the fact she is a woman.
