Kinda enjoyed that. The folks in their gardens was quite unique, Spurs did a good job, and Marine did fine.

I think for the first thirty-odd minutes they were brilliant when you consider their position and their lack of match sharpness.

Done ok Marine I thought. Looked a bit like rabbits in headlights for the first 15 minutes or so but gradually did well.
Quite a strong side Jose played too.

....the pundits understandably focus on the gulf in quality but most of the top professionals are also superior athletes. It’s not only fitness, they are naturally Faster, stronger, bigger. it hurts when they kick you. It makes such a big difference.

Yep. Every now and then a Marine player, or players, showed some real skill/commitment/ability, not out of place in the Spurs team.

But full time athletes will out do part timers in the wider context. The centre forward for example, he was fine, but looked a part time, non league player, all ends up.
