It's insane when you think about it....also, who many cases is deemed enough for PL games to be postponed....wasn't arsenal vs man city postponed when arteta tested positive?....west ham play wolves in a few days now aswell...

If Salah, Mane & klopp tested positive, would they want PL games postponed until they were recovered?...
Asthmatics should be shielding anyway.

They should have cancelled the Caribou Cup for this season anyways...very little financial gain for any, but extra risk of players passing on the virus..

If there's a break in the season again this season, when it restarts this competition will just be a nuisance

I guess with TV rights, financially it's still going to be a windfall for lower-level clubs who progress to the later rounds (i.e. Fleetwood Town) at a time when they really need the money.

Wait so Hull city players haven't even been tested?....makes zero sense that, surely any Premier league team would refuse to play the game without testing
The teams below the prem are only been tested every 2 weeks or so, compared to the prem league, or that is what i heard or read a few weeks back

That is a very good point especially as the League Cup brings in very little compared to the amount of money the top tier will lose if they have to stop playing?
Bottom line, the owners will care more about the cash flow than they will about supporters wanting to win a two Bob cup.
