I'd always assumed Charlton would be Palaces big rivals

Palace and Brighton met mainly in Div 3 south

Think this goes back to the Terry Venables days, more of a rivalry

Palace’s local derby would probably be AFC Wimbledon if you were going on geography but they have yet to play against each other

Historically the derby was Millwall and was always the game for both sides although they never liked West Ham, they never played them.
Charlton were South London’s top club in the pre and post war era and neither Palace nor Millwall played them much.

Only beaten Spurs at the Amex this season I think. They've really thrown a few games away though. Last night, the game against United where they dominated but lost in the 96th min come to mind
