Sick of hearing pundits say how that gravy guzzling fraud has "never been relegated" as if he's some kind of managerial master technician :mad:

A relegation fire fighter with a recent relegation on his CV makes him less appealing to desperate clubs.

Around the time of his appointment to his current role I was thinking just how well Joe Royle did for us. We looked dead and buried, he kept us up, won the then much more prestigious FA cup and qualified us for Europe doing so. Plus despite the Dogs of War tag we played some nice football - in the Cup at least - during that season.

That mid to late nineties era was when I became an Everton fan, won't hear a word against Joe Royle
 


Of the bottom 5, Fulham is the one I would like to see stay up. Don’t hate the club, like the manager (as a player especially).. been in the Prem as much as any yo-yo club or better...
