A relegation fire fighter with a recent relegation on his CV makes him less appealing to desperate clubs.

We looked dead and buried, he kept us up, won the then much more prestigious FA cup and qualified us for Europe doing so. Plus despite the Dogs of War tag we played some nice football - in the Cup at least - during that season.
