He's put in some absolute stinkers in big games as well but it gets glossed over the minute he bangs in a pen. Don't know how the rest of this season will play out but currently Godfrey should be in for a shout for young player of the year.

Godfrey shouldn't even win our young player of the year (assuming we do one, genuinely can't remember) so not sure about that. They'll give that to Declan Rice or someone like that.

Think part of me throwing Godfrey in the mix is being totally blindsided how good he would turn out. Started shaky but looks to have everything you need to be a top defender these days. You are correct though, going to be DCL nailed on.
