Still but if they're competitive against everyone and flukey against City, as you say, they must be doing something right.
Yeah no doubt. As far as I'm concerned they've followed the blue print for how to be competitive with less money and prestige than the big 6 and it is working.

Haha, true. But isolated results mean naff, Newcastle's record against us over the past 2 seasons is testament to that.

They also have the quality to go toe-to-toe with the big teams, we'd have been forced to sit deep. Envious of Tielemans and Ndidi in midfield.

They get pretty consistent results and have some very good players, but I personally don't think they are miles away.
 

Utd and the media have built the reputation of Fernandes so high that it's reached the point where they look bang average if he doesn't start of has an off game. He's become their talisman, everything goes through him even if he isn't producing.

That lot had the same thing with Coutinho, absolutely fleeced Barca in the end, I wonder if Fernandes will want to stick around playing second fiddle to City for a few years.
