The big teams really have had some struggles in these last few games

France - drew with Ukraine, only put 2 past Kazakhstan and are being held by Bosnia-Herzegovina tonight

Italy - two comfortable wins so far but being held by Lithuania

Germany - comfortable over Iceland, only a one goal win over Romania and losing to Macedonia tonight

Portugal - narrow win against Azerbaijan, blew a 2-0 lead v Serbia and come from behind to beat Luxembourg

Spain - held by Greece and only beat Georgia in last min but look more comfortable tonight

They’re still winning with 2 minutes to go away at Germany

Even if they don’t win now they’ve done supremely well

Just goes to show once again how there a very few truly easy games in uefa outside of a small number of sides
