TBF, they'd have to lose the whole team to Covid19 for Liverpool to stand a chance.

Oh FFS, THAT'S going to happen now isn't it?!

As it stands Madrid are currently missing their entire first choice back 4 (Carvajal Ramos Varane Marcelo) and will now be missing their reserve right back. Against probably the most fortuitous forward line in world football. What could go wrong.

Ah, that explains the problem with that first Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow album. There was far too much fancy fills, but not enough hard driving, powerful rock drumming.

Somewhat akin to his onfield performance, Iwobi was neat and tidy, but failed to provide the end product that would have seen him succeed at the highest level.
Back in the 70s, I bought the Rainbow live album....quite good I thought. I heard Ritchie Blackmore was a ‘difficult’ person to gel with so I was impressed with how Geoffrey, Bungle, Zippy and George sounded on stage with him.

I’m wondering what the audience is for this game these days. I appreciate it hasn’t got PL cachet...and two giant names like Everton and Crystal Palace... so I’d hazard a guess viewership (globally) would be significantly lower than Monday night’s blockbuster from Goodison

Still mega but probably not like when both sides had some of the best players in the world.

Messi aside, it's a poor game quality wise. Real should be out of sight.

Nobody f***s with Bungle - he's a bear for God's sake! Even Ritchie knew not to mess with him, especially during drum solos..

I never knew that about Blackmore. Must be the reason why he left Deep Purple.
Jon Lord on the other hand, is supposedly a righteous dude.
One of my best memories is from when I was a young 'un, and my old man and uncle took me and my best mate from high school (still my best mate) to go see Deep Purple and Uriah Heep... Front row! I got to meet Jon Lord afterwards.

There's no more Messi vs Ronaldo anymore + empty stadiums + Koeman's moon shaped head.

And considering that the majority of fans from both of these clubs are plastic glory hunters... I wouldn't be surprised if viewing numbers have dropped considerably.

They held them off with ease last Tuesday.

Madrid need one goasl and that tie is done and dusted. They'll get more than one.
