Ancelotti has a job to improve the team and he’s not done it.

We finished 7th with Koeman
We finished 8th with Fat Sam
We finished 8th with Silva
We finished 12th with Ancelotti
We’ll probably finish 8th at best this year.

Considering his wage and pedigree, I think we all expected more. No one expected the turgid football and disgraceful home record.

Honestly can’t understand how every summer we ignore the glaring issues with our team. Fully expect us to buy another ponderous midfielder and a centre back this summer and play holgate at right back.

Yep. It's like how we're linked with big money on Koulibaly. Fine player, but centre half couldn't be less of a priority got us given the problems elsewhere.

Knowing your history and supporting a Grand old team is excruciating these days.
It seems that perpetually blowing Bubbles is the place to be these days. :(

It sucks to be a toffee, but Bubbles, whoever he is must be grinning from ear to ear.
 
It’s such an alien concept to people in here that managers/teams/players can click in certain combinations at certain times.

Moyes has got a team of proper Moyes players, high on confidence and getting good results. At some point the players will revert to type, or the better ones will get picked off by bigger clubs, or some combo of those two and results will tail off.

Leicester won the league because a manager found a style that suited them down to the ground and they kept their key players fit (and the top clubs were all dump).

The same cryarses in here, cryarse weekly about how we have overpaid mercenaries bloating our squad, and can see how reliant we are on said players when we have the injuries we have, and yet can’t for the life of them fathom why we’re not duking it out with City.

Honestly, I thought I was a moaning auld get but this is another level. Put the golf on, lads.
