Southgate is trying to be Mr Discipline with regards to Covid breaks from the players. Leaving a few out of squads etc.
Whilst I get that, in the height of the pandemic Walker was goosing brasses in hotels, yet still gets picked.

It’s a fine line for keeping the public sweet for Southgate, but this sort of side, with young talent etc is crying out for a Terry Venables sort of gaffer.
