That used to be the law, but they changed it this season so that they only have to have part of 1 foot on or in line with the goal line, the other foot can be in front of the line which kinda makes it easier for keepers cause they can be further forward than before.

The whole point of the rule is to stop keepers from coming forward and cutting the angle.

I know, the point being that this season keepers only have to have part of 1 foot on or level with the line rather than 2 so the law actually makes it easier for them to cut the angle down than it did before.
 

That madrid team has been ruined by zidane, wheres the stars and the galacticos? This summer they decided bale and james aren't good enough but look at their team!
