I can’t see anyone who will put a run together to come on top of them. Maybe Spurs if Mourinho sorts the defence out. Maybe us if we stay injury free and get a bit of luck.

Absolutely mental that in this of all seasons, people still think that City and Liverpool are a level above everyone else. City could quite easily be battling for top 4 judging by these first few weeks.

I think VvD out is huge tbf, without him they're definitely not way ahead at all, he makes that much of a difference. If Mane gets injured too for any lengthy period they're nowhere near the team they would be with them.

Van Dijk, Mane and Alisson are their three key players for me even more so than Salah who wouldn't get the service.

City just aren't full stop - agree entirely top four City target

I think they might have got over them Pete since both preceded this run, so why wouldn't they?

Tbf even then they were extremely unlucky to lose away at Arsenal 2-1. Their very first game of the season their only shockingly bad result but have recovered remarkably well since.

Depends how Liverpool play without VVD for a long period which they haven't done before, The levels have already dropped down from last season but think they're in better shape than City everywhere on the pitch tbh.
