Was it when vardy was out Leicester had those poor results? Amazing how much difference a player can make, we see it with Richarlison. If they won the league again i wouldn't be too dissapointed tbf

They’ve got their recruitment down much better than we have, no debate there

Have they?

Pretty sure they spent £30m on Ayoze Perez, £25m on Iheanacho, £23m on Adrien Silva, £28m on Islam Slimani and £12m on Danny Ward.

All clubs have some hits and some misses in the market.

We can't just cherry pick other teams transfers for the good ones to bash our own club with.

We’re any of those Steve Walsh signings ?

Its usually our most expensive acquisitions that tend to flop. Barring Youri Tielemans who is a Rolls Royce of a midfielder

Not signing Zaha derailed our season.

Zaha replacing Richarlison and we win Newcastle and probably get a point at Saints.
Or he’d have gone missing with the rest of them. We didn’t win because we didn’t have a Zaha to step in, we lost both games because we were generally poor all over the shop, even our perceived good players. It happens

Rather Ayoz and Kelechi, than Iwobi and Tosun. I didn’t say they’ve been perfect but they’ve done better than us. That’s why our squad is full of crud and theirs isn’t

Zaha was never coming here because we wasted that money on Iwobi last year. He would have been great though.

Too many variables with Zaha; inconsistency, settled in London, lacks motivation at times & seems to play for a transfer. On his day he is unplayable, not sure how many he seems to have though. Pass

They have a good starting XI, so do we. Their backup options are largely average, so are ours.

Unless you class players like Mendy and Christian Fuchs world beaters.

That's fairly selective to be fair. They have also signed a ton of quality in the last 3 years, such as Tielmans, Preat, maddision, Perreria etc. and sold (maguire, chilwell, drinkwater, Mahrez, Schlupp & Kante) for about £250 million.

One thing that baffles me is how the got Tielmans unopposed, he is phenomenal
