Good to see mcfadden in studio. Liked him, but just never worked out for us. Had the ability but maybe not quite the other attributes needed at the very highest level.

Scored some crackers as well. Crowd got on his back quickly if he tried something and it never came off. Remember moyes dropping him after a MOM performance against Leeds. Must have done his head in.

Think of it like club football, if the PL and EFL were split into mini leagues, with promotion and relegation

So in League A, the top team in the 4 mini leagues go to a 4 team mini tournament to decide the winner, the bottom teams get relegated to League B

League B - the 4 mini league winners replace the relegated teams from A, the bottom teams drop down to League C

League C - mini league winners move up to B, the bottom teams go into a play out to decide the 2 relegated teams to League D (fewer teams)

League D - the two mini league winners go up to C, no relegation

But wasn’t the Nations League invited with Euros incentive?

Well, that was nerve-racking. Never thought I'd see us qualify for another tournament, and Steve Clarke deserves much credit. 5 great pens (well, 9, to be honest). When Ratboy blasted it into orbit with the goal at his mercy, I thought it was simply going to be another one of those, but Christie saved him a few seconds later. Our heads were well and truly down in extra time, so we did well to get to pens. Really pleased for Marshall - a keeper who's always given his all, and doesn't dodge call-ups.

Got tickets for Scotland Vs. Czech Republic for £40.

Never thought I’d be attending a Scotland game. Monday afternoon, on the lash, in the sun.

What an effort.

also have tickets for Sweden vs. Slovakia... Dublin will not be as exciting

Yesss Scotland. Will be a fun grouping at the Euros. England, Scotland, Croatia, Czechia. So happy for the Scots
