Exactly, conference north team Southport or even league two Tranmere
Mark Palios (owner of Tranmere) was on the telly today. He said that they would probably lose money as the fans who would attend would be season ticket holders, so there wouldn't be any gate money. It would cost them £10,000 a match to put a game on with spectators.

There may well be an option whereas you are allowed to have fans, whether that's compulsory is another question. Season ticket holders would have to be reimbursed if no spectators and consulted if you wanted to continue the ban and reimburse instead.

I'd be surprised if they go with corporates first. Why is it more expensive to have a game with fans in too? I wonder what the costs are?

Still think they will screw us over on the tiers, even thought the r rate is plummeting up here.

Getting fans in is survival for the lower leagues, but it would be boss if we could get some of ours in for the league cup game Vs the mancs.

Of the criteria they seem to be basing it on it would seem we may be moved lower.

Two points say we may not...

1. Are the local hospitals still struggling to cope?.... If it hasn't eased at all, and it is often a lagging indicator then they may keep us in the highest tier.

2. This is just a general impression but areas will only find themselves moved upwards, If at all, with none moved lower. He did say that this would be the overall direction of movement tbf with a lot finding they're moved to a tougher regime.

The new tier three is tougher than the old tier three so staying in tier three for us is actually moving to stiffer measuresnot the same despite the improvement. Tier two more akin to what we had before lockdown
