For the most part he played his best players in their preferred positions and didn't set his midfields up to get over-run.
What I would give to have a manager that wanted to give us the best chance to win every game.

Shades of their first meeting. Wolves dominated and United lucked a win late on if I recall correctly. Seems headed down the same path here.
The first half wasn't as one sided, but Wolves could have been out of sight, Greenwood won it out of pretty much nothing.

I thought would be a pressing kind of team by now under Rangnik, but they are not even doing that and giving the ball way constantly to boot.
This is the 70's & 80's United team, throwing money at big names and no cohesion or planning at all.

It's been a few weeks at a busy period with people missing time to covid. I think we should put a pause on Rangnick takes for a month or two.

They’re definitely disjointed. Their biggest weakness is in midfield. So this two up top thing Ragnick likes is going to be a challenge until they sort it out. They need a Bissouma type to make it work but they don’t have anyone in that mold. Wouldn’t be surprised if they add there this month.

Hardly been any goals in wolves games the last 7 Prem games before today - Wolves have scored 2 (1-0 wins v West ham & Brighton) and conceded 2 ( 1-0 defeats to City and Liverpool) - other 3 games were off course 0-0
