He was sounded out 2 days ago. Haven't heard anything since.

However the official line was they wouldn't announce Ranieri's sacking unless they were close to appointing someone else.

Expect complete madness at Hull. Their new owner was destined to take over my local team Fortuna Sittard. Deal was in place and he already invested €8m. Dutch FA had to approve the deal, but during that process a lot more add ons emerged. Both parties decided to pull the plug on the deal in the end. Lucky escape if you ask me.
