Fair comment but you could potentially say the same about Lampard and various other clubs and include players as well. Should they all rip up their contracts? All is a mess. Probably these owners should not have been permitted to take ownership of clubs in the first place but then money talks and football is greedy

Yeah, same applies to Everton, too! Football as we knew it has long been dead. There will never be a ban on Sheikhs, oligarchs or even countries from owning football clubs in the United Kingdom, so unless you're one of those clubs you know you've nothing really to play for apart from in a freak season like Leicester had. The good thing (one of very few!) about getting older is I lose more and more touch with football, watching fewer games and generally taking a lesser interest in it.
