They huffed and puffed but created very few clear cut chamces. Hit and hope mostly. Chelsea centrehalves were outstanding.

Tough night for Lukaku once they went down to 10 he had been linking up quite well with their midfield until then.

Still not convinced that was a penalty given the new interpretation of handball.

Right now I'd put Chelsea ahead of City. There is no way City would've saw that game out with 10 men.

Liverpool are the real deal too unfortunately. Three horse race, and all three will be in with a chance of the title with two games to go.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong, and I hate all thee of them (one more than the other two obviously).

Chelsea and City both have better squads than Liverpool so over the course of a season should finish ahead of them but game to game, and especially in the big games, Liverpool get an inordinate amount of luck and favourable decisions that keep them at a title fighting level. There’s no way a team with a starting line up including Henderson Matip Harvey Elliot and Firmino should be anywhere near the league title but they probably will be, today was a prime example, any other team just gets a beating after that first half performance but they almost ended up being gifted three points against one of the best teams in the league.

I hope you're right, I really do mate. I try to lord LFC up though every season, as it makes life oh so much sweeter and hilariously funny when the capitulate lol

Genuinely can't see it this season.

I am as big a cynic as any when it comes to them, but their team does not compare to City or Chelsea, and their squad certainly doesn't.

The third wheel, if any, will be united with Liverpool very much 4th.
