Very good players. I had hoped we looked at them last summer but alas we have zero scouts.

We probably have a lot, but it's not like they'd tell us if they're on an assignment hahah

I'd say it's more accurate that we have scouts but our entire recruitment lacks any kind of decent judgement...

I honestly see no evidence we scout anything below Birmingham. I reckon Mykolenko was just spotted at Manchester airport.

They need to hire me. Genuinely think I could build a better squad for cheaper than we’ve got.

Tbh I'm certain there's some grassroots people willing to do it for a percentage of this, and they'd have actual experience. Like the lad that got hired as a data analyst from FM and all that.

I've coached kids before, surely Everton can hire me.

You follow U21 football than probably more than our actual scouts as well, might as well double up, surely we'll find... someone better?!

I spent ages convincing my dad and my friends that we should sign Heitinga in 2008, he joined Atleti afterwards and no one believed me. He joined us the year after, I genuinely bought the shirt and all lol

Other than that - used to watch a lot of lower league here (especially when I played?), that was fun. Helped coach a guy (I got injured a lot before I left for Scotland) who is now a very legit player in our highest tier. Top lad, a sponge for football knowledge, but it's good he made it cuz he was quite... dim.

Either way, we'd hit at least one as I said.

Used to do that as well, but can't anymore as real life is sadly catching up so...

Miss those days though, Fri/Sat/Sun either playing or watching, training every day. Life was different... Now I'm stuck behind monitors and getting wider lol

Not always about having the best players but having a the best team. Philllips another player who hasnt let England down.

You can have the best team by having half decent midfielders in it. I'm not suggesting shoehorning players in.

Phillips is a good player imo, not world class but decent and does a good job.
