Wasn't blatant enough that one mate. Not like today which was the most blatant one ever in the history of penalties

To be fair, it was worse than just a shirt tug, but you still rarely see them given.

I have no problem with that being given as a penalty but there is no consistency at all. Either give them consistently or don't give them at all.

Alls well that ends well in the end. The rs get their expected 3 points and Watford stay below us having played more.

That's not really in dispute; the point is that there are many similar instances where it doesn't go to VAR.

The 2018 World Cup gave loads of pens like this. I thought it would spark a flurry of this type of penalties with VAR. It didn’t.

Obviously it's a foul but I thought there had to be a consequence of there being a foul for it to be given as a penalty by var He was never going to head that in or get even near it

That's what referees told us earlier in the season, rule change in favour of liverpool 291.

It's worse than laughable now with var and the decisions.

We would not get that pen in a millions years - Christ we can't even get nailed on handball given FFS.

Only positive is that it was against Watford.
