I predict a 4 or 5 nil hammering for Burnley tomorrow. They were bad enough with Dyche in charge but at least he had some respect and tactical nous. They will be really bad with the under 23s coach in charge of them. Most of them will still be reeling about Dyche being sacked as they respected him.

Pep wants to find a way to make things so difficult for himself that if he wins he can call himself a genius, the problem is he doesn’t win any time he does this. He almost resents playing his best team and just winning normally. Always has to throw a stupid selection or formation in a big game or sell all his strikers.
 
Sterling has been absolutely pony 2 weeks on the bounce, as has Jesus.

Liverpools firepower is what’s going to see them lift at least a treble.

City’s attacking options just not as good.
 

City had lost this game on Wednesday night. The rs played a reserve team at home and City had to play their strongest team away. Then Guardiola said they were in trouble after the game, giving his players the excuse to chuck in the towel. Then picked a reserve team, unnecessarily dropping the goalie.
 

Liverpool sign athletes, we sign cast-offs. If only they weren't so kin good. We finished above them not too many years ago. Might be a generation or more before we can say that again.
 
City need to buy one of Haaland or Mbappe and probably another wide forward ho scores goals if they want to be serious about winning the big prizes next season. Their attacking players are just far too lax
