Had a huge chance us.

2012 semi final, went in favourites. Since then, we’ve made zero finals. They’ve made 7 Finals, won a league and became one of the best sides on the world.

It’s doable, but we lost it all.
Frankly I doubt winning the 2012 semi propels us nor would it have stopped them necessarily.

2013 was as bad,we lost to Wigan at home in 1/4 final, would have played Millwall in the semi,s and a Man City side in the final who's manager (Mancini) was already knew he was out the door after it

Yeah, that's what saw us and them embark on the journeys we have been on. That semi final.

Im not a fan of this tbh. Makes us look a bit bitter. They were fantastic in the first half. As good as you’ll see a team play against a top side. City were tired and missing big names but they didn’t give them an inch.

But, it’s just a semi final. They’ve won nothing but a game. Palace and Chelsea will rather face them than city in a final.
I appreciate your point, however the point was that the mainstream media highlighted City’s failings and how arguably it helped Liverpool. Can't we?

It was something along the lines of, 'While not downplaying how well Liverpool played, City have not played anywhere near what we expect of them'.

Would it have been enough to change the result? Who knows - but the likelihood of it being a closer affair is quite high.

He's what the media think Pickford is. Essentially.

Bang average is exactly how I'd describe him.

Hes just the next in the line of meh English goalkeepers like Ben Foster, Paul Robinson, Tom Heaton and Robert Green.

Ramsdale and Henderson are the class of 2021-22.
Agreed - he’s was crap at Sheffield utd and he’s no better now.

It’s the medja spin to get him in ahead of Pickford that I find odd and gas to be the goo nerd/London thing. You can slag Pickford for Everton, but he ain’t put a foot wrong for ingurland.

I’d have Johnson from wba ahead of ramsdale - he’s a better goalie.

I think they're all crap but Pickford is just in the class above.

Johnson, and Pope too, are better goalkeepers until you ask them to use their feet which is something you're asked to do a lot of for England as they're usually playing against principalities and Eastern European countries that didn't exist 20 years ago and have 94% possession.
