Thats fair enough - but go to Goodison Park with 10 games to go stuck in 12th every season and the atmosphere is crap, full of groans because we've got nothing to shout about.

This seasons been crap but the last couple of games have been fantastic from a supporter perspective. You would think we were competing for the title with the atmosphere recently (minus Leicester which was a bit flat at times).

Obviously you want that atmosphere because we're competing for europe / titles but give me this excitement over the last couple of years of crap anyday of the week personally.

But aren't you partly responsible for said atmosphere? As good as last Saturday looked, what if we'd have lost the game, would you still be excited?

I would have been gutted but its living on the edge thats what football should be about whereas the TV money has created a system of safety first which is what keeps the likes of Alladyce and Woy in jobs.

If we got to a Cup Final you have to accept you could lose it and never see another chance as good as that to succeed again - but bring it on thats what we live for the adrenaline!

I was thinking the same about Tarkowski: his return feels to marry up with their upturn. Him out, with Westwood, could be catastrophic.

A sending off today, which doesn’t feel too unlikely, would help a lot. A result tomorrow is now paramount if we want to build momentum.
Yup we need a result tomorrow for sure
