As a young boy when Everton were winning League Titles, European and domestic cups, I often thought to myself, what I really miss is a good old fashioned relegation battle.

Thats fair enough - but go to Goodison Park with 10 games to go stuck in 12th every season and the atmosphere is crap, full of groans because we've got nothing to shout about.

This seasons been crap but the last couple of games have been fantastic from a supporter perspective. You would think we were competing for the title with the atmosphere recently (minus Leicester which was a bit flat at times).

Obviously you want that atmosphere because we're competing for europe / titles but give me this excitement anyday over the last couple of years of crap and boredom.

Fecking no lad.....you never went through 1994 did you.....coincidentally its 28 years today when we played Wimbledon in THAT game and we enjoyed it so much that we went through it all again 4 years later..........NOT!!

Financial advantages then enhanced by refereeing decisions. Fans of other clubs too busy arguing about relegation or blaming their managers rather than recognising the system is broken.

Sadly most fans are clueless to this because they are spoon fed nonsense of "anyone can compete in the Premiere League". Its the USA of leagues in the "you come to America and achieve anything you desire" whilst the reality outside of Hollywood is they have millions living in ghettos and squalor.

We have suffered the reality of the glass ceiling more than most outside the scab 6 yet even now you still have Evertonians talking about seeing us win league titles and trophies.

Not in my or your lifetime will you see Everton win anything or even play in the CL because we aint allowed to.

I’d put good money on Kane and Son resembling Tosun and Rondon most of the match and Liverpool scoring from a set piece because Eric Dier forgot where he is and what day it is, a few Allison save later and a disputed penalty late on from a counter attack and it’s another routine win for the quad ped reds.
