Made me really appreciate big Rom. He knew where the net was. I Couldn’t believe the amount of are fans that didn’t rate him. Saying he wasn’t world class just a flat track bully an all that. He was always a world class goalscorer. I miss the big man even if he was a bit of a tit when he went away with Belgium.

Goal machine the Yak.

He was about 25 when we signed him, scored 20+ in all competitions in his first season. Bad injury. Everton that. Think he had the potential to be a consistent 20+ striker in the Prem for years.
 

Never understood the praise for Mings. Nothing special in the slightest.

And because its free I'm popping in and out watching it and as a consequence listening to Alan Smith. Oh my word he's awful.

Too many errors to ever be top class but when a 6'5 guy can move like he does and also be mostly useful on the ball people are always going to see what could be.

I remember him still doing well for a season. At Blackburn after he left Everton. I think he got 17 or 18 goals that season even after his injury.
