The Madrid team that beat Pool back in 2018 had-
-Ronaldo
-Ramos
-Marcelo
-Navas
-Bale (when he was still a supersub)
-Casemiro, Modric, and Kroos
-Benzema

With pretty much the exception of Benzema and maybe Casemiro (he's still a top top DM in spite of a few shockers here and there), the rest of their key players they had seasons ago have either been sold (Ramos, Ronaldo, Navas) or have aged/lost their stellar form (Kroos. Modric. Marcelo. Bale)

As much I really and I MEAN BLOODY REALLY want those red mugs to lose, I really can't see it happening- the current Madrid are light and day compared to the amazing side they had a few seasons ago...

That’s the beauty of playing Madrid and not someone else. They will have to worry about the officials. They won’t get all the decisions they normally do against a Madrid team.
