For some reason the 1981 European Cup Final is on TV (yes I know the RS win) and I'm a few in before bed here so I'm watching. My initial reaction is the standard here feels about the same as the gap between the present NBA and the NBA before they decided it would be ok to allow black players. The difference in intensity versus the modern day is just staggering.
