City haven't played with a reference #9 under Pep - even Kun was not a similar striker. It will take time and while Erling has an odd affect or way about him, he does not strike me as someone who will buckle under pressure. But this is indeed his biggest challenge to date for a young player

I have to say that with Pep's genius in all facets of the game/team, striker has probably been the area you could be most critical of him. Still think Haaland will not be a flop but I also think City will not always click offensively. Alvarez on the other hand looks perfect for a Guardiola side

I'd probably not rush to make this my take.

Also plenty of players have come over and had success. I'm not thinking that hard to pull out De Bruyne, Sane and Dzeko. It's almost like blanket judgments about a league are a bad idea. Who can say?

Just to make sure I've this right, when Man City bought Haaland, that was it, may as well hand them the next 10 league titles. Now that he has not scored in a pre-season friendly, Guardiola is an absolute idiot and has handed the next 10 league titles to the rs.

Don't think he will. He'll have never experienced the amount of games and the intensity for someone his age. It'll be a shock to his system

Commentator mentioned Pep has them this way so they peak later on. Unsure how much truth there is to that though. Even De Bruyne looked yards off it. Wouldn’t want to be going to West Ham looking rusty.
